I think its personal preferance really, i prefer the dogmatic as it just feels more secure.
Dogmatic have a good website where you can order over the phone if you prefer. They are very helpful.

Dogmatic every time.
We bought a Gencon when Leon was younger, thinking that the "one size fits all" would be great with a growing pup but he never stopped fussing with it and it did not feel anywhere near as secure as the dogmatic. They are the only head collar that all our danes have been comfortable wearing.

I prefer the Dogmatic..it's better quality imo..and it's brilliant for Phoebe who is a puller if on a normal lead, but not overly so.
BUT the gencon was better to control Missy as she was a lot more pully and boisterous on the lead than Phoebe and the Dogmatic didn't stop her from jumping and pulling me around, the tightening action around the ears stopped her everytime.. we did, however continue to use a normal lead attached to the Gencon as it didn't feel as secure as the Dogmatic.
