Tara had her 1st training lesson on weds eve. It was really funny. All the other dogs were little puppies and she looked like a giant. Good news is that she loved it. She behaved with the puppies and even played with them. She seems to be learning quite quickly and the desensitisation has helped. We went to the square & compass in Worth Matravers today (A real doggie pub) and she behaved really well.
Looking forward to the new forest walk even more now.

I know how you feel.
Being at puppy class with a fully grown dane is quite strange.
We have been going for about 5 months now and Honey is a different dog when shes there. She even has doggy friends!
We have now moved up a class, its definitely the way to go. She will get better each week.
Well done & good luck.

An update guys.
We took Tara to the beach this afternoon and let her of off the lead for the first time. We chose a secluded part with no other dogs and let her loose. She was brilliant! I was so proud
She ran, jumped and skipped, but as soon as I recalled her she stopped what she was doing and RAN back to me, sat and waited for praise. I'm such a happy daddy!
I'm really looking forward to the New forest walk next week. I am actually wondering whether she will be able to be off the lead if she isn't aggressive to the other participants.
