We have a new 9 week old puppy and things are going quite well. However, she wants to go mad & play straight after she has eaten her evening dinner & I believe this isnt good for her. Do I leave her or do we need to train her to rest? Advice would be much appreciated.

Our Frankie is nearly 7yrs old and he still tries to have a mad moment after his evening meal (doesn't do it after breakfast or lunch) so I always  have to stop him ..... it is never wise to have a Dane rushing around straight after a meal.

Good luck

We have a 2 1/2 year old harlequin and we always make him rest and chill out after eating for 2 hours and 30 mins before. We also feed 3 times a day as to not have too much food in his stomach in one go.

Hope this helps
